My daughter is new to the school and lovessss it. We transfered from a public school where she took advanced classes and top ten in her class. She says the school work is the same and the teachers are teaching her not throwing the work at her. The class is smaller and you have one on one with the teacher.

Jackson Academy is not preparing students for institutions of higher learning. Their science lab is limited and they do not have have the staff to offer advanced foreign language classes. I have been very pleased with the school. There is a lot of extracurricular activities for every one & an extreme amount of parent praticipation. The classes are small so the teachers can work with the kids individually if needed. Most of all my child loves it and wants to go. I recommend this school

... Read more extremely safe place for your children with high morals. Some reviews do not agree, but every teacher is not liked by every person. This is also true in all schools. Sports is an important part of JA, but it's not everything. Sports are there to provide physical activities for your child. It developes a sense of being part of a team. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
