Lee High has not received the attention from the school board or the superintendent. There is an apathy toward Lee that would not be found in other parts of the city. AP teachers are finding it difficult to stay. They are leaving to find other schools in which goals are defined and support for improvements ...  Read more

The AP teachers and classes are good. The magnet programs are average - they could be found at Huntsville High School or Bob Jones. The decline in the building itself is shocking. This school has a wonderful magnet school program for fine arts. The drama, art and music departments are outstanding and second to none in this city.
