Coosa is a amazing christian enviroment. It teaches values and respect for yourslef and also others. I had my little girl there for several years but she decided it was time for her to move on and experience other places. I relly hated her decision i really love this school may god be with you all=)

I tried to post a review a few days ago about several issues at Coosa Christian. I'm so ashamed that I have placed my children in a school that has teachers coming and going. Some teachers/coaches that seem to yell at the children stay and the great ones seem to be going. I would like to know the reason
... Read more why the turn over rate is so high. It seems that we are just interested in money and not the knowledge of learning in the classrooms. Why is it also that certain admin. is leaving at 26 yrs of service? Ones mind would wonder after all look at who all has already left in the last 3 yrs. Our children need familiar faces, stable classrooms. Should a meeting not be called to address issues, maybe a open floor would be easier for a lot of people. Read less

I have 3 children at Coosa, my oldest has been there for many years and I would not want my children in any other school. The teachers are great, the curriculum is great, and the Godly atmosphere most of all. Fundraisers, lunch menus, recognition, all those things that have been mentioned as a problem
... Read more are not going to decide if your child spends eternity in heaven or hell. But God's word that your child is taught at Coosa, will certainly help. And that's what is most important to me. I have read several of the reviews on here and I am not quite sure how anyone could be disappointed in this school. ... Read more bible daily. The curriculum is biblically based. I know that in public school they teach to test. Obviously it is very inportant that our children know how to take tests...but how sad that he was having to be quiet in the halls, no talking at lunch, no development of social skills. I am so glad that at Coosa we can learn and enjoy childhood. I don't attend Crosspoint & I have never been made to feel different b/c of it. Remember, Coosa is not state funded. My children are at Coosa now and I know the high school teachers and elementary school teachers personally and I know that their purpose for teaching at Coosa is to serve God in the live's of their students. And in this, they offer up their very best, which is excellent in our opinion. Just look at
... Read more the test scores as well as the high percentage of students who go on to college(and graduate). Our family has only had positive experiences at Coosa. We have a 10th grader who is now being groomed for college by our wonderful guidance counselor, Mr. Davis! As for fund raisers, we are not government funded, we are a private school. I have two sons that graduated from CCS. My oldest son was Valedictorian of his class and has gone on to get his Masters Degree without any problems. My younger son is finishing next year with his BS. My daughter-in-law teaches at CCS now. As with any school there is always room for improvements but

AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School
