NMA has undergone many changes recently. NMA teachers ARE expected to do a lot for little pay. The administration needs to be closely monitored and possibly revamped. However, I believe a large majority of the faculty and staff there are there for the soul purpose of Christian education and sharing

Northside Methodist Academy is an outstanding Christian school. Having been involved in the school for the last 10 years, we have seen God working in the good times and in the trying times. I would not recommend this school and its not grade A. Students are allowed to act any way they want to and get no disciplinary action for their actions. Also, its not grade A because it can't even keep its faculty. A school that has such a high turn over in teachers and even the minister left is hardly

I would say the school is a little unorganized and has a lot of staff issues. The year before the Principal was let go who was there for 20 or more years. Ever since this the school has been in a chaotic mode. I would just ask questions and dont be sold on 'we are a Christian school first' philosphy

This year our sports programs have continued to thrive with junior high volleyball taking first place in the state and senior high volleyball finishing a tight second. Our basketball program has won numerous state titles and continues to shine. We are having good seasons in baseball and softball and look forward to returning to state playoffs in May. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
