We have been involved with JCA for many years now. While there were problems in the past, the change in Leadership, the wonderful addition of Teachers and the Christian focus has now made this School one that I would highly recommend to others.

My child is currently at the preschool. I have found the teachers to be loving and attentive. They really care about the children and seem to have a positive attitude every day. The school also focuses on learning opportunities and not simply childcare. I definitely recommend it.

Wonderful Christian enviroment. Both of my children attend the school and daycare. We wouldn't go anywhere else! The teachers are dedicated and love what they do. Not only do they excel with acadamics they also instill Gods love into our children.

If you are looking for a school that tries hard to provide an excellent education at a very reasonable price JCA is the place. While there are opportunities for improvement in areas such as appearance and air conditioning, improvements are being made. My son goes to JCA instead of a public school because

My son has attended 2 years now and will be going next term. I love his teacher this year and the class sizes are great. I do think for the money they could afford to do some housekeeping as far as paint and cleaning up. The air condition never seems to work properly and that is an aggrevation, but on

Since the hiring of a new principal, disciplining has been great! It is more quiet, and the school is more cleaner with more respect for school property. There are an attempts to fix up the appearance and its getting better. Teachers are great and qualified. The school has sports are wonderful

Large turnover of elementary teachers in the past 5 years. Going through transition. One child has excellent teacher and not happy at all with other child's teacher. Academics is good. As with all schools you must stay involved and know what is going on at all times and question things when they don't

The school does have a lot of improvements to be made in many areas: hiring quality teachers, maintenance issues with classroom air conditioners, and a sound discipline policy, just to name a few. I feel that we should be getting more for our money, but over all I think that my children are better off at JCA instead of public school. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School
"Extended day" programs where the school day is extended before and after school to accommodate working parents. These programs should not be confused with common after school clubs or athletic activities.

Vocational and/or technical courses offered within a comprehensive school, usually a senior high school.
Special Education Classes
A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
