Inverness Elementary rocks! My son attended IES from K5- 3rd grade and we were so happy to have the priviledge to experience such a fine school! I actually moved into the community so that he could be a part of this school. The teachers are fabulous and very caring toward the students ...my child

This school is poorly staffed by smart mouth teachers who only seem to be there to collect a paycheck. My child will definitely not be attending this school next year. The teachers give too much busy work and not enough personal attention. What a let down big time!

My daughter attended Kindergarten at Inverness Elementary school this past year. We could not have asked for a better year. Her teacher was incredible and made my daughter excited about going to school...every day! By the end of the school year I was overwhelmed by all she had learned. One benefit
... Read more of this elementary is that the classes remain very small. So, each student receives lots of attention. Inverness elementary has all sorts of programs (music, art, computer, science labs, etc) as well as many extracurricular activities. I feel that there is a high level of parent involvement at Inverness. From talking to other parents this has always been the case. ... Read more is not the consistency among faculty that one would expect from a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. Much of this may be due to the school's administration. There has been many instances of micommunication between faculty and Administration that directly effects students and families. The school prides itself on being a great 'private' public school. In the same regard they tend to make up their own rules on basic operation matters. Again inconstency stemming from administration. Parents need to be involved and known in order to ensure their child is reaching their full potential, is being challeged on all levels and recieving more than testing basics. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
