I highly recommend this school.It is the best in the wiregrass.My 3 children attended there for 6 years until we moved to Dothan.I do not recommend any schools in Dothan.AES encourages and welcomes parental involvement.And they also care for children with special needs and do everything they can to encourage

I have had the opportunity to place my 2nd cousin which I am fostering into AES since the beginning of last year and have not regretted it one bit. Our child has attended school since she was 5. Now she's in the 4th grade (a-honor roll). The teachers are wonderful & extremely helpful. They make learning for her a enjoyable experience. We could not ask for a better school, teachers, principle or staff. She has learned a great deal over the years

My children attended Ashford Elementary for two years and it was a great experience. The teachers are extremely nice and caring. My children were treated as if they were the teachers own child. The atmosphere at the school was relaxed and the teachers were more than willing to have the parents involved.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
