15 Parent Reviews for Ardmore School

I dropped out of Ardmore after failing my 8th grade year and started home school with Penn Foster. Most ardmore teachers have their favorites, which would be the kids that dont have any problems and their parents have money. I had a problem with alomst every subject and no one helped me, they seen a ...  Read more

Wow! I just read all of the previous reviews about AHS. As a mom of two, I had one to attend and quit because she was picked on too. I was not pleased with the education she was getting, she was in the LD class and needed extra assistance. I'm not sure how the teachers looked at the situation but I figured ...  Read more

I'm Emily B., a 2006 graduate of Ardmore & an education major at UAH. I currently spend 15 hours a week in inner city, Title I schools in Huntsville. Seeing things from this point of view makes me realize how lucky I am to have graduated from Ardmore. Ardmore is a GOOD school. Anyone who says it ...  Read more

I have nothing but the best to say about Ardmore. I have teo daughters that both attend and I wouldn't want them to go anywhere else.

Three of my oldest kids attended Ardmore, and one is in the Navy, one is a graduate student, and my oldest son is an operations manager. The principal has always been prompt in responding to situations with my youngest who is a sophomore. The teachers are great, my son's ACT scores are a reflection ...  Read more

I have three children, two of which have attended or are attending Ardmore High School. Honestly, if I had the opportunity to send my children to another school then I would jump at the chance. Not being raised in Ardmore myself, I find it to be absolutely ridiculous. If you have money, then your children ...  Read more

the last reviewer can't even spell. How serious can you take a review like that. Yes, I'm a teacher and with over two hundred students sometimes calls are not returned the same dya but they are returned. The administration is FIRM but they follow the rules consistently. If you have a REAL problem call ...  Read more

Ardmore High School doesn't seem to care about the students. They don't take anything seriously. They put a big emphasis on sports and making their school look good. As a former student, I would not send my kids to Ardmore. The school is rediculus.

I believe that Ardmore School is an average school, but be careful if you have a child with a disability. They do not seem to want to work with students who may require extra effort. When I say 'they', I don't mean every teacher. They have had some teachers that are so willing to help and others who ...  Read more
