A truly special environment created by the administration, teachers, parents and PTA, all of whom are deeply invested in your child's well being and learning. Your child will go to school filled with positivity, encouragment and learning. Teachers and staff have been there decades, with their own children eligible and going through the Scarsdale school system. This particular trait brings stability and constant improvement to the school and district. The enthusiam of the principal and the teachers resonates through the school and despite being only an elementary school, the pace of learning and growing for the children is remarkable. Parents can be overly involved/sensitive at times, but that is a small price to pay for the care, attention and sense of community the school creates. It really takes a village to raise a child and this is that village.

I have had three children go through the Scarsdale school system and they all thrived. The workload was high but they found the time to get involved in sports and other activities while maintaining great grades. Their college choices were top notch and they also excelled in college. While some of their friends from other places struggled initially in college, they hit the ground running and never looked back. When we had issues with things at the school, the staff addressed our concerns promptly and in a satisfactory manner whether it was a teacher, athletic director or principal. Highly recommend the Scarsdale school system. No regrets.
