7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son attended private school all his life and is currently all honors here, so take the review as you wish. Just in our experience so far, this school is top notch in all areas: math, science, language arts, orchestra. We could not be happier with the number of opportunities (clubs) within the school as well as in the Renton School District. If I could go back in time, I would have put him through the public school system, specifically Risdon. It is a challenging but supportive school. Thank you, Risdon staff!Parent Review3y ago4 Reviews - Check out schools near 6837 Ripley Ln N.

"“I lived in the Licorice Fern II neighborhood for years, it is at the edge of Renton Highland, Newcastle and Issaquah, it is a hidden jewel in Cougar mountain, with trails access. Beautiful homes on spacious lots, a peaceful setting with stunning views of majestic Mount Rainier plus great Issaquah School District schools."

"Dogs are frequently not cleaned up after. There are a lot of feral and outdoor cats. Walking outside at night isn’t safe. "

"Meet your neighbors. They are an untapped resource that benefits everyone and you never know when you might need some help! When a tree fell on our neighbor home, my husband and boys went over and help haul all the logs. It was a beautiful jester I know our neighbors would do for us as well. "

"We're right down the street from a lot of major chain stores, restaurants and amenities! It's also a pretty diverse niche culture in the area I live in. "

"There’s a brand new charter school out here and we love it; Impact | Black River Elementary. Though at home there are not a lot of kids my child has built relationships with, the community at the school is awesome, the staff is open to collaborating with their parents, and it’s obvious that the kids enjoy themselves there"

"Great neighborhood, quiet area, close to freeways and grocery stores. Unfortunately the schools are a nightmare and not recommended, and the transit system is wishy washy, not reliable for work."

"I just moved here and haven't been to any community events yet. The place seems wonderful though and might live here longer in the future after spending time North of Seatle for my job. When I live here longer I plan to get to local community events for sure. Thank you for being welcoming during my first stay here. "

"It’s quiet for a Kent neighborhood. There’s one park for the surrounding area and it gets a lot of traffic (lots of people with dogs, some kids, some BBQs and picnics) but otherwise it’s quiet. I’ve only lived here about a month. "
