5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would not recommend this school to anyone. My son started 6th grade here in August, and our experience has been nothing short of distressing. Since the start of the year:•I’ve been personally threatened by a teacher.•My child has been racially bullied.•Despite my repeated concerns and my son having an active IEP, he continues to struggle with little to no support or follow-through.•I’ve had to request monthly IEP meetings because his accommodations are not being implemented correctly.•Most recently, my child was physically attacked by another student at school. As a parent, it’s heartbreaking to watch your child go through this while receiving minimal accountability or assistance from staff. I’ve tried working with the school in good faith, but the lack of safety, communication, and proper support has left me with serious concerns about how students—especially those with disabilities—are treated.I’m now exploring other options for my child’s education, but unfortunately, living in the county limits what’s available. I sincerely hope the administration takes these issues seriously for the sake of other families.Parent Review7mo ago9 Reviews - North Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school just continues to go downhill. The teachers are rude and treat all the students as if they were in a military school. The staff is just as bad, with a few exceptions. The principal has no authority in that school. The teachers walk all over her. If you don't want your child to end up hating school then do not send them to this school!Parent Review1y ago8 Reviews - Prince George High School

"There are good schools here. It is year round with a one break from late June to late July. It working class so you mostly only see your neighbors coming and going except on weekends."

"We are near the Marina and The Beacon Theatre. The High School Football field is also located in this area. Only one small park by the area. There are Bicycle lanes on all the main streets. Plus a very clean family owned Supermarket, a Hospital, lots of places to eat and close to other larger shopping areas and right off of Route 10 that connects to I-95 and I-295."

"We lived in the neighborhood for 3 years and we love it. It is very quiet where we live, we forgot to lock the door at night or when leave for work but none bothers. The people are friendly and looking out for each other, there are areas that has crime."

"There is a shooting in this area at least 4 times a week. This is not an area for a family with children. There are always fights going on in the streets. "

"There are several schools within walking distance. There is a private school in the area. There is no real sense of community here. People walk through your yard and on your property despite signs."

"A loud, annoying, trashy bike rally that replaced a community business festival. A really cool Christmas ceremony. A boat parade. Oh and that walking dead thing"

"The events at the Beacon are great, and the new restaurants and businesses bring more life back into downtown. I've worked in area for almost 7 years and like the small town feel, even if movies are filmed here. some neighborhoods are suspect, but most neighbors look out for each other. "
