We've been a part of the Field community for 5 years, and I can say with confidence that it is an incredible community. Across the board, the teachers and staff are compassionate and engaging, and I've watched my 2 children excel in Spanish and English learning year over year. Principal York is outstanding, relatable, and organized - if you take a tour of the school and you get a chance to meet her, you'll immediately see why the school adores her! When you walk in the front office, you will be greeted by a helpful, informative team, who will get to know each student by name. We also have the most involved and caring school nurse who treats each child as her own and can easily heal an ailment in one moment and then pop over and serve as the DJ of a school function in the next! Nurse dela Paz has also been instrumental in securing Field as one of the Healthiest Schools in America and infuses wellness programs into student, staff, and family events. The PTA is incredibly involved and supports extracurricular cooking, gardening, and art classes for the kids, along with unique school-wide assemblies and funding for field trips. The best part is your child will graduate 5th grade speaking, writing, and socializing in two languages, which is incredible for early childhood development.

My child went to CHS for 2years and switched to Madison high school, so I give you the honest opinions here. CHS needs to improve the discipline of students. There are students who bring bad stuff to school every where (it’s way more at CHS maybe due to the nature of family dynamics) but the difference between the 2 schools, Madison faculty staff are not afraid to conduct backpack searches and call the parents right away whereas CHS had never done even though I had suggested them to do. CHS is not competitive in sports sadly (never seen a game they won at football, basketball, they are great at waterpolo) whereas Madison is in higher division and winning a lot of games in many sports. There are many students who shine in athletically and academically at Madison. Now sure why Madison is getting such a low rate here but to me, Madison has a higher quality of excellence in teachers and students themselves. I’ve never felt uncomfortable with Madison kids in football games but many of CHS students were disrespectful towards adults and I’ve even seen someone vaping in the crowd. No teacher was spotted there. Many cases of threatening at CHS, never heard at Madison in 2years.I would like to say thank you to the teachers and vice principal to lead my child to the right path.

My family has been at Innovation the last three years and we love the school. The staff is so caring to make sure kids succeed and make sure they are emotionally ok. They have a zero tolerance for bullying and rarely hear about things happening at the school. The school really motivates kids for good behavior and creates many events for families. The staff is really dedicated to the kids.
