"I grew up in this neighborhood going on 30 years. People are very friendly certain pockets, more friendlier than others. People take care and maintain their homes very well."
  • Natalie Iwanowicz
"Septa 70 & 77 and the train are within 2-3 blocks radius. If I don’t have access to car it takes me 15min by bus to get to work in Philly. Philly is right across the street from the Village. Libraries + Parks are walking distance. "
  • La_nikki0290
"Nice area I would love to find a place here, very quiet part of the city. Great neighborhood I would definitely recommend this area to someone "
  • Trulia User
"I love living in Cheltenham. My family moved here from Philly 6 years ago. I love the schools, the community, my neighbors, and all the beautiful scenery. I chose Cheltenham because I wanted to live in a diverse community. I am extremely happy with our choice to raise our 3 children here."
  • Ade N.
"They’ll love the amount of dogs here. Everyone is friendly and the dogs are friendlier. Some people "
  • Tmm4981
"Quiet, scenic neighborhood. Just visiting family, very relaxing, close to shopping near Abington/Willow Grove "
  • Letters.and.some.such
"Lots of dogs being walked around here. If your doggo is well socialized and friendly you'll have a great time, if not it's hard to navigate "
  • Katherine M.
"you see people including myself walking dogs through the neighborhood. very animal friendly neighborhood. "
  • Mommydiedhard
"Very changed since I bought home in 1980. Quite a few disrespectful, loud children. Trash routinely thrown on sidewalks and streets. Parking can now be problematic due to people owning two and three cars while having only one parking spot in front of their homes. So sad to watch the downslide of this once lovely pocket of the NE."
  • jjcempapa
"Cheltenham has it all: architectural character, terrific schools, parks, and excellent proximity to downtown Philadelphia by way of 5 very busy regional rail stops. You're also close to shopping areas in NE Philly, Willow Grove, Abington, Jenkintown, Wyncote with immediate access to Route 309, 611 and nearby PA Tpk. Home to Arcadia University, Salus University with fast access to Temple University, Drexel University and University of PA via regional rail. "
  • Janbgoren
"Great area, especially for families. Near park, transportation (bus, train) center city is 18 minutes away. Less than 15 minutes to North East, Willow Grove, Chestnut Hill, hospitals, rehabs and more."
