I graduate this year and I definitely have to say that this school has to be absolutely terrible. Throughout most if not all of my years in highschool I got bullied terribly, almost to the point that It took my own life. The kids here are cruel, food has been thrown at me, harassment has been aimed at me, I have been pushed and shoved and everything else under the sun and yet no action was taken against the perpetrators. I even got inappropriately touched by another student during school hours and nothing was done, no suspension, no iss or oss, no expulsion, absolutely nothing. Action had to be taken to court. This school is not a safe learning environment due to the students and the cruel ignorance of admin. Do not send your students here.

My daughter came to OGES in the middle of the school year when we bought our house in lewisburg. She is incredibly bright and eager to please-has NEVER had behavior issues, or problems with bullying until she came to OGES. Her teacher has made her a scape goat- gives her demerits freely when other kids come up and talk to her during non talking time-for example, while I hear about a child in her class who weekly causes outbursts with cussing and even sometimes kicking and screaming with hardly ever even being sent to the office. When she is sent to the principle-she comes back and smugly states that they don't do anything to her. My child gets alienated and picked on by the "popular girls" regularly and comes home in tears because nothing is being done about it. I'm sure there are great teachers here-but I could not be more dissatisfied with how things are being handled in my child's third grade class. My kid is a great kid and what this dynamic is doing to her self esteem is beyond shameful.

I will wholeheartedly recommend this school! Great leadership and teachers! I’m forever grateful for all the support given to my child and my self!
