As a former alum from decades ago, VHS is significantly lacking in teacher professionalism. Multiple teachers were toeing the line with students, and far too engaged with politics of the student body. The culture of the school is soured, and the teaching body is to blame for it. There needs to be more outside hires, and less former students being onboarded to the staff that perpetuate the same systemic problems that the school cannot outgrow. I would be much more inclined to send my child to North, or bus them to Hunterdon Central before I would subject them to the subpar VHS school system. For such a solvent school and wealthy taxpayer base, I'd expect better management of the system. My advice is to not send your children to Voorhees.

School is amazing in terms of academics, teachers, students and out of class club activities. Though the transportation and school administration is something that is questionable, they are still old school in terms of accepting new ideas/suggestion from parents and are not very open minded. School Board members to get more active in the administration of this school. A must to find more details with transportation department when buying a house around this area.

We moved into the district a year ago and have been very satisfied with OTS. The quality of education is excellent. Class size is small. Teachers and staff are wonderful. Most teachers have or are pursuing graduate degrees. Staff, students, and parents were very welcoming! There are many activities and each student has his/her own chromebook.
