Overall, the teachers at this school have been supportive and caring, and I truly appreciate their dedication to the students.However, I had a concerning experience that I feel should be shared. My daughter was pushed by another student and experienced tailbone pain afterward. Even now, she occasionally still complains of pain. I raised this concern with the school, but I did not feel that the situation was thoroughly investigated or addressed.In another instance, my daughter was called to the assistant principal’s office and asked to write a statement. I was not informed at the time, and I later learned she was told what to write, which was concerning to me.While the teachers are strong, I hope the school improves how it handles student safety concerns and communication with parents.

Duluth High School is a great school, particularly for students who are new to the United States. The school's commitment to supporting ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) students is outstanding. They provide a plethora of resources tailored specifically to help these students integrate and thrive academically. One of the most commendable aspects of Duluth High is its dedicated teaching staff. The teachers go above and beyond to ensure that ESOL students receive the assistance they need to succeed. They are patient, understanding, and always willing to offer extra help or clarification. The school environment is welcoming and inclusive, making it easier for new students to adapt and feel comfortable. There's a strong sense of community, with various programs and activities that promote cultural exchange and understanding among students from diverse backgrounds. Overall, I highly recommend Duluth High School to any student, especially those who are new to the country.
