5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son transferred here from a Blue Ribbon School District this year going into his senior year. We regret not moving here sooner. The kids have been so welcoming. The Teachers are so caring too. Our old District put so much pressure on academics. My son is high honor roll & for the first time, looks forward to attending after school clubs three days a week. The school has a diverse population which has been great as well. I love that once a month there's no homework night for family connection night & yes, it's on the school calendar!!!Parent Review4y ago10 Reviews - Washington School

"I’m just used to living here. I have my practice here. Friends. People are driving crazier than ever. But it’s basically a nice area. Just have to watch for lunatic drivers. "

"There's little traffic on most of the streets, so it's safe for kids to ride bikes. Bus service gets kids to & from local public schools, which are in a good district. Yards are .25 - .5 acres, so each house has a yard. "

"A quiet, safe neighborhood with a good mix of young families and older people who watched their own kids grow up here. Flat, wide streets perfect for bike riding and walks with neighbors and pets. It’s convenient to highways, town, train station and schools but remains tucked away and private. A really nice place to live."

"I work a mile from my job, so my commute is quite easy. Never any traffic. I live close to the railroad but far from any major highway so a commute to the city would take a long time "

"The neighborhood association organizes a Halloween party, Easter egg hunt and Christmas caroling w/visit from Santa for children every year. The local fire department drives through the neighborhood the week before Christmas with Santa to bring holiday cheer to the residents. The people living here are quite friendly, saying hello and stopping to chat even with new residents. It’s a really lovely, quiet place to live that’s conveniently located and family-friendly."
