Very happy with Manchester Township Elementary School! The teachers and staff are amazing. They care for each child as if they were their own.

I was a year long substitute teacher in 2022-2023, taking over 4 computer science classes and one PreCalculus Class. The students in these classes were very respectful. Every student rose and recited the pledge of allegiance aloud. Students worked daily with their chromebooks as well as whatever handouts I distributed. I was a computer design engineer in my previous life, so I occasionally found computer science assignments as well as cybersecurity assignments for the students to do. The student enthusiasm was refreshing. Some seniors in my classes had taken AP BC Calculus as juniors and received a 5, so the potential to perform above and beyond exists. Teacher meetings were thoughtful regarding the interesting things and unenthusiastic about routine things forced upon them. I liked that. Principal Adams seems to strike the proper balance between organic and bureaucratic leadership - also refreshing. I liked it well enough to return for a 3 month stint this coming September. Parents are involved because kids are well-behaved. Some come forward as necessary. The students are encouraged, but not pushed to perform. How did it get so awesome?

I just moved to stafford nj and we have a shooting threat in Toms River, and barnaget and yet stafford went into lock down and Manchester did NOT go into lock down. I also got thrown to the ground by a class mate for waiting for our teacher to get there 8th period.
