I am in my mid sixties, healthy and active. Most of my brain cells are still active. I have a fairly varied background.
PROFESSIONAL. Most of my work experience was as a commercial banker in the traditional sense of the word. I advanced through branch management, regional branch operations, regional lending officer, bank marketing, CFO, CEO. Along the way I was responsible for property management of office buildings, high rise parking garages, other real estate owned (REO). This led to property development management responsibilities, construction management - single family spec over a wide spectrum of the market including modular townhouse construction, single family mid-size tract homes and 6,000 sq ft custom construction.
PERSONAL. I grew up in the Bahamas and Jamaica, went to local schools through grade school. For high school I went to a boarding school in Rhode Island followed by college in Maryland. I have been married to the same wonderful lady for the past 46 years. We lived in Maryland until 2002 when we moved to New Jersey to be near our grandchildren. In Maryland we owned and lived on farms up to 200 acres. Our last farm was 115 acres of crop land and pastures for horses. The home was a lovely 180 year old brick house which we completely restored. Before selling this property we put it into a conservation easement to protect two very endangered species that lived there. In New Jersey we owned a waterfront home in Ocean County and subsequently moved to a lovely "old" development in Ewing, NJ where we still reside. We also have lake cottage in Ontario, Canada where my wife spends 5 or 6 months a year - I go back and forth for a week(s) here and there.
I held my first real estate license in Maryland in 1967. My New jersey license dates back to 2005.
