As a Realtor and the proud owner of my 2nd Joyce home, I can say the "hype" is valid. Joyce provides excellent post closing/warranty service and truly takes pride in their product. Many builders tout the "semi-custom" title and they are truly tract homes - finished in record time with anything but "custom" results. Many of the sub contractors were the same at my recent Joyce home as the first Joyce home I purchased 10 years ago. They have managed to keep the important details in perspective in spite of their success in Douglas County. As far as being overpriced, I have been able to negotiate both personal and professional exceptional prices with Joyce...in this market, there should not be any one builder "overpriced"! - Wed Nov 4 2009, 13:40
