I am Wendy Hanson and I have been a real estate consultant for 9 years. I work for Keller Williams Classic Realty out of the Coon Rapids Office. I enjoy working with 1st time homebuyers, seeing the excitement of home ownership for the first time. I also help clients move from their current homes, to either upsize, or downsize their homes depending on their needs. I have a couple team members that I work closely with. Sandy, who is my mother, and my Client Coordinator, helps with paperwork and ensuring that all aspects of the transaction are moving along the proper course of the timeline. I also have a mortgage consultant who provides information and advises my client’s of home loan programs available, as well as what would benefit them in their current situation.
As your real estate consultant, I will sit with you and ask some very specific questions about you and your wants and needs. As we together identify what is important to you about your home buying needs, we will then work on accomplishing your goals. I will also inform you of the current market trends, foreclosures, short sales, or ordinary home sales. At that point, for buyers, you and I will look at the homes available for sale through the computer system, outline a list of properties of interest, and I will then set up showings to look at those properties that meet your needs. Once you have found the perfect home, I will write an offer. For sellers, I will market your home to attract traffic and ultimately an offer for your home. Whether a buyer or seller, I will be there to negotiate the offer to best represent you. Once we have an offer that is agreed upon by both parties, I will then oversee all the transactional details to follow. These details include, working with the mortgage company to meet deadlines, inspections, working with agents or contractors who have work to be completed on the home, coordinating the closing with the title companies, assisting in clearing up any tile defects, any other issues that could affect the closing date. Finally, I will be there for you during your celebration.
I decided to get in this industry because I love helping people accomplish their goals, I love houses and decorating. What a perfect career where I can enjoy both of my passions, and watch others feel a sense of accomplishment when they close on their home.
It is very important that all my clients feel that I have done all I could for them during this exciting yet nerve-racking time in their lives. I need to be the one who has answers to questions, and if I don’t, I will research and get them for you. I have built my real estate business around exceptional customer service, by having processes in place that keep my clients informed of the status of their transaction, and a team of specialists that have the same work ethic and desire to please my clients as I do. Once the Celebration is complete, I will continue to stay in contact with you.
My list of Real Estate family members grows each and every month. I have been fortunate to work with many great people of all circumstances. As mentioned earlier, I have assisted many clients purchase their first home, have helped people whom have lived in their homes for 30+ years sell and move into a smaller residence with less home maintenance required, moved people who wanted more land, who have relocated out of state, and some who have renovated and invested in real estate. There are many other scenarios of client’s needs that have been accomplished, but not mentioned.
With the market as it is today, I am constantly evaluating my goals and my business to specialize a service that satisfies and exceeds my client’s expectations. My client’s tell me that I have been helpful, knowledgeable, and that I keep them informed with current trends. As always, I will strive to make the home buying process and or selling of your home, an experience that is gratifying and as stress free as possible.
My goal is to be my clients’ Real Estate Consultant for Life!
