Are lower offers being accepted in the Durango area? I'm interested in this property, but my budget is in the 350,000-370,000 range.

This property is actually under contract at this time. To answer your question though,,,each seller's motivating factors are different. Typically there is room to negotiate almost every property. Some will discount much more than others, depending on a wide variety of circumstances. I do not think that it would have been a waste of time to make an offer and test the waters on the home in question. Your budget is not totally out of line to possibly purchase a property listed at that price, if the seller is motivated to sell quickly. That is a nice home in an upscale subdivision. - Wed Feb 1, 2012
