I see she deleted her account on zillow to avoid this review from being seen. Very shady lady! I'm not sure what Carla's ratio of satisfied customers is but I can tell you my experience has been nothing but odd & dramatic. Carla and I shared a mutual friend. This friend introduced us, thinking Carla could help answer some of my real estate questions since I was planning on selling my house. Carla came to my house and spent a good deal of time with me going over things. I couldn't believe how nice she was. Even though she's an exclusive buyer's agent, she helped me a good deal with tips on selling my home and even offered to "consult" me for $1000. I decided to sell FSBO and the next week I had my listing on the MLS. She saw the awful photos I had on there and then offers to come out and take better ones. She did so out of her own free will. After receiving them, I write her back asking the obvious question other people had asked me, about the 2 bedrooms she didn't take photos of. I simply wanted to know if that was ok and/or normal to leave out 2 of the 3 bedrooms and if I should mention something in the description about them or not. After all, she did make herself available to me ....how else was she going to earn the $1000? Well, evidently she didn't like me asking anything about what she did. It was like a light switch was thrown. .. complete 180 degree turn from what I knew of her. Our mutual friend was at a loss for words. Carla had gone from being this nice, cheerful, helpful person to someone no one recognized. She instantly and without explanation points the finger at me and claims I insulted her and should never have questioned her. Reminds me again that she did this for free and she had better things to do and I was ungrateful and disrespectful to her. Mind you, I praised her up and down in every communication I ever had with her. Took her advice to heart, informed her of progress and was ready to send her flowers. After telling me how how much time and energy she wasted helping me she then demands that I pay her $160 for the photos she took and tells me I can't use them and it would be a copyright violation if I did and she'd file a complaint against my agent for doing so, etc. I wait 13 hours before writing her back.. apologizing for what she interpreted as disrespect and tried to explain why I or anyone would ask about the other 2 rooms... a very normal response. But she wouldn't hear it...... she came back at me full force with the most unprofessional language I've ever heard from a realtor. She was insulting, degrading and even foul by anyone's definition. She even wrote to my listing agent and demanded the photos be removed from the MLS in a very bullying type manner. My agent, being confused and unknowing of any situation, calls Carla on the phone only to be screamed at, threatened and hung up on!! She was out of line to me and my agent and I just want other people to know what type of realtor she really is. Maybe she thought she could treat me that way because I wasn't a client...but not only did I not pay her for the pics, she lost out on the $1000 she would have gotten when the house sold. Maybe she doesn't want her clients to know she was helping a seller out on the side so decided to can me as fast as she could. I would NOT recommend her services to anyone. After assuring me she knew my area well, she got lost coming to my house and had to call me twice for directions (I live right off the main road). I've never heard of a realtor not using a GPS these days. My gut feeling was that she was a little shady from the beginning and this just proved it.
