Vero Beach is a wonderful place for a long term investment in real estate. The woes that are effecting the market right now are the result of the basic principles of economics - supply and demand. On the way up, may people bought in Vero Beach as they thought it was a great place to invest and the appreciation rate that we experienced was simply not sustainable. History has shown that after significant market downturns the market bounced back strongly!! There are a number of points that can also be made about the local market that will influence the market. They are posted on my blog. I hope they will be helpful for you.
