Tom spent his early years in South America, the Middle East and Europe, where his father was working as an oil company executive. In 1965 his father retired to Ocala where Tom finished his education at CFCC and received a BA degree in Economics from UF. He then spent 32 years as an insurance agency Owner/Executive and agent specializing in Farm and Livestock Insurance Services in Central Florida. In 2009 he sold his agency to BB&T - Oswald & Trippe as a move toward semi-retirement. He has since become a Real Estate Sales Associate where he plans on concentrating his efforts in Farms and vacant farm land.
