I'm a Portage native having been born and raised in the local area. My youth was filled with extra-curricular activities and organizations centered around school, family and athletics (mainly soccer). Even with my father's "misguided" attempt to make me a Hoosier, I successfully became a Bronco fan. I graduated from Western Michigan University with a degree in Marketing in April 2000. During the summer breaks of high school & the first few years of college, I worked as a closing agent at Metropolitan Title Company. The last few years of college I worked as a Real Estate Assistant. In June 2000 I received my State of Michigan Real Estate Sales License. In 2001, I received my ABR Designation, in 2004, I received my GRI Designation & in 2009, I received my CDPE Designation. On a personal note, I've been married to my husband, Mark, since August 2002, & we had a son, Mason, in July 2005. My attention to detail, coupled with a strong desire to provide exemplary service, make an unbeatable combination.
I was born and raised a Hoosier, and graduated from Ball State University in 1971 with a degree in Marketing & Finance. Prior to becoming a Realtor, I was employed for 12 years by Clark Equipment Company. They relocated to Kentucky and my family and I decided to stay here. I have been married to my wife, Val, since 1973 and have 2 children, Wendy (my partner) and Bill (a teacher in Battle Creek). I am actively involved in refereeing soccer and I am the local assignor for all the travel, high school and premier soccer matches. What I most enjoy though is spending my spare time with my family at our condo on Lake Michigan in South Haven.
