I grew up in nearby Orange County and have lived in the Hudson Valley my entire life. The friendly people, the area's abundant natural beauty, my attraction to the Hudson River and the rich local history have always captured my attention, and my photographer’s eyes and heart. I often journey around the area to soak up the rolling farmland, clear waters, fresh air, deep cool forests and breathtaking mountain views. Another huge plus in my book is the active, vibrant arts community. Together, they're a huge part of why I continue to call this area home. The proximity to New York City is another.
Older homes and architecturally unique homes have always been a magnet and I spent many years restoring a 100 year old Craftsman style home in New Jersey prior to moving to the mid-Hudson Valley area. I've been a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation for almost two decades and a past member of historic preservation commissions and organizations.
I have always enjoyed talking to strangers despite my mother’s sound advice while growing up. This curiosity led me to become a published writer, accomplished still photographer and filmmaker, market research focus group moderator and yes, a realtor.
