A native of southern California, set on the surf of Newport Beach-Costa Mesa, Steve moved to Santa Rosa in 1971 to begin his collegiate experience and graduated from Santa Rosa Junior College and Sonoma State University with a B.A. in both Economics and Management in 1976.
He remained in Santa Rosa and in 1977, after graduation, accepted a position with the title insurance and escrow company, Transamerica Title Insurance Company. As has happened to many others over the years, Sonoma county's charm and friendly populace ensured that Steve was here to stay.
After eight years in the title and escrow side of the business, Steve decided to try his hand in the mortgage financing. In 1984, he made his move to a small mortgage brokerage firm. In 1986 he was asked to instruct several classes on FHA and VA financing. In 1990 he accepted the position of Real Estate Program Coordinator and adjunct faculty member for Santa Rosa Junior College. He is currently holding both positions as a dedicated professional.
Steve has gained valuable experience in his thirty three years as a home mortgage professional and strives to provide a perfect home mortgage experience for each of his valued clients. Steve has held a California Real Estate Brokers license since 1986 and is also currently licensed by the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System as a federal and state mortgage loan originator.
