With over 20 years of experience as a real estate appraiser serving all of the central Texas market areas, and as a listing specialist, Stacy brings to her clients the experience and qualifications to help them obtain the best return from their most valued asset - their home. She has extensive experience in analyzing markets and evaluating all types of properties including: residential, investment , multi family/income producing properties, as well as luxury, vacant land and farm and ranch properties from Georgetown to San Antonio. Stacy has earned three specialized real estate designations: Seller Representative Specialist, Graduate of the Real Estate Institute and the special Green designation, reflecting special proficiency in green building initiatives and awareness of the environmental impact of our construction techniques.
In addition to being a full time Realtor®, she is co-owner of Renove Residential Investments,LLC, which specializes in rehabilitating homes that are in a non-lendable condition, restoring them to energy-efficient and gracious living status, and improving the neighborhoods in which they are located. This experience provides her with the practical knowledge on how to identify problem areas in a home which could be pitfalls to a buyer, and to provide a general idea of repair costs, as well as an idea of an expected rate of return. She co-owned an appraisal and real estate brokerage firm serving Austin and the Hill Country from 1994 to 2008. Currently, she actively serves on several committess at the Austin Board of Realtors, including:
Grievance and Ethics Committee
Conservation and Sustainability Subcommittee (Chair) - this committee coordinates with Austin Energy to provide Realtor® education on the ECAD ordinance, green building technologies and advances and The Austin Climate Protection Plan.
Stacy has lived in the Hill Country for over 20 years. She lived in Wimberley for 15 years before moving to beautiful Driftwood, where she now lives with her partner and their two dogs, Skylar and Griff. She has a special love of animals, and for over 15 years was a breeder/exhibitor of champion Bouvier des Flandres, including showings at the famous Westminster Dog Show. When not selling houses or working on a construction project, she enjoys entertaining, gardening, music and Longhorn football season. She especially enjoys making her way through all the wonderful restaurants Austin and the Texas HIll Country have to offer. Austin is not only the gourmet food truck and live music capital of the world, but a "foodie" gold mine not to be missed! Her blog features some of her favorite spots and fine dining "must visits".
