I agree with Sunil. You could pursue the matter, but at the end of the day you will likely have spent a lot of time and effort with very little chance that you'll get the house anyway. I know you love the house, but do you really want to invest more into a situation with this seller?
There will be other homes, hopefully with sellers that don't practice fraud.
