Sandra Dowling began her "career" in real estate when she purchased her first coop in Prospect Heights in 1985 from Michael Dowling, President Michale Dowling ,Ltd. She then became active in real estate joining the business full-time in 1990.
In 1995, she incorporated Brooklyn Heights Real Estate, Inc. (BHRE). BHRE has remained at the same location on Montague Street since its founding. The business has grown, as the popularity of Brooklyn has grown, from a four person team to an operation that now numbers 15-20 agents.
BHRE’s continued success in an era of corporate consolidation is tied to the friendly, professional and “non-corporate” environment that engenders repeat business and referrals. BHRE’s office “personality” very much reflects Sandra’s style and core values.

Breaking BarriersSandra’s career in sales goes back to her first job as a teen selling Avon door-to-door. She continued her sales training after college, selling industrial hardware materials – one of the first women in the field. These early jobs proved invaluable learning experiences, teaching her core sales skills.
