Hi Gina. Is part of your concern, water damage from the unit above you? If so, talk with the neighbors above you. Many water concerns are a result of a lack of maintenance. IE: washing machine hoses, hot water heaters, etc. I good plumber or handyman can often spot a concern before it becomes trouble.
