In Northern California, Sotheby's International Realty is the largest luxury real estate brokerage with over 120 associates in its San Francisco office and over 30 associates in its wine country office.

Yahoo! Small Business is a monthly subscription service for consumers and small businesses providing domain name, domain email, web site and e-commerce hosting services. At the time, Yahoo! was the number one provider of these services in the US with over 2 million customers.
Robert held P&L responsibility across the product line. Tasks included service pricing analysis, customer retention analysis, and programs to educate small business customers on web marketing best practices.
RouteScience (acquired by Avaya)
November 2000 - December 2002
RouteScience was a Benchmark Capital / Sequoia Capital funded startup focused on developing a faster Internet. The business model evolved from a subscription service to a infrastructure product which launched in 2001.
Robert was responsible for all corporate marketing during and after the 2001 company and product launch. Tasks included company and product brand development, product positioning, and public / analysis / investor relations.

ConcentricHost was a monthly subscription service for consumers and small businesses that provided domain name, email, and web site hosting services. At the time, ConcentricHost was the second largest provider of web site hosting services in the United States.
Robert held P&L responsibility for the ConcentricHost product line and the administration of a $21 million annual marketing budget.

Microsoft WebTV was a montly subscription service for consumers that delivered Internet access and enhanced television functionality via a set top box that connected to a subscriber's television.
Robert performed various product marketing functions including market reserach, analysis of proposed service enchancements, and pricing analysis.
