I certainly would try to lay out a timetable for the home inpection, contact, appraisal, & mortgage commitment. As long as you feel that the buyer is trying to move forward in a timely manner, be a little flexible. The timetable for the appraisal may be out of his/her control. Good communication will make all the difference. Make sure that you're kept in the loop.
