Just a little information about myself. I've worked hard to achieve success in this very competitive feed of Real Estate. Growing up on a dairy farm in Southwest Minnesota, attending a one room country school, going to Verdi HS being an above athlete in basketball and baseball and then off to Augustana College where I received a BA degree. I began my career as a mathematics teacher at Canby, MN and then departed the rurual area for a teaching job at St. Anthony High School in the Metro area. I then completed my Masters Degree at St. Louis University.
As a teacher I had many great success stories to tell. Our mathematics program flurished with many of my students going to fine schools and relaying there success stories to me. After 17 years of teaching I decided to change courses and entered the field of Real Estate. Was it a good change? I missed the student contact and continued for 11 years to teach the calculus class while selling Real Estate. It didn't take me long to reach the highest level at Coldwell Banker and I achieved #1 in the Midwest Region five consecutive times within six years of becoming an agent and selling at times over 100 homes a year.
I loved to competition but even more the relationship I had with both buyers and sellers. Negotiating contracts was always fun and rewarding. The many thank yous' I received and the repeat business are things that I always will cherish.
It is no different today, price the home right and it will sell. Times have changed and we no longer can get as much money as we got six and eight years ago, but the buyer will set the price and when that happens the home gets sold. I still have fun selling homes, give me a call and we can sit down and see what you need and how I can get the job done for you.
