The best advice I can give you is to get a Realtor who can take you through the process in the area you want to live in. That person will suggest a loan office so that you can get your pre-approval letter should you find something you wan to put an offer in on. I suggest that every offer you make have a copy of your pre-approval letter and a letter that is compelling about why want this particular home. Hope this helps.
