Becoming a real estate professional in the Wilmington area has been a natural progression for me. Before entering the real estate profession, I was a practicing Landscape Architect and worked for 14 years side-by-side with my husband Michael, an award-winning Architect. In this capacity, I guided many clients through the new home construction and/or the existing home renovation process, helping them to first identify a vision for their property and then helping them to achieve it! During this time, I also gained the background, experience and expertise that now serve me well as a Broker/Realtor for Intracoastal Realty, the area’s premier real estate company.
Having lived at the coast most of my life, I moved to Wilmington in 1995 with my husband and two young sons. The beautiful coastal environment, mild climate, rich culture and plentiful amenities make the area the perfect spot to live, work and raise a family.
I have a BA in English from Lynchburg College in Virginia and a MS in Landscape Architecture from North Carolina State University. I believe in giving back to my community as a volunteer and have served on the boards of the Junior League of Wilmington, the Wilmington Children’s Museum and the New Hanover County Arboretum Foundation. Today, I remain active with my children’s schools and am also an avid tennis player.
Knowledge, service and customer satisfaction are the most valuable qualities that I have to offer my clients as they sell or purchase their most important asset – their home. My emphasis is service and educating my clients to help them make the best decisions they can regarding the sale or purchase of a new home or property in and around the Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach, NC area.
