Hi Abcd,
In order to answer your question we must look at distances. Are you talking about a house right next to or across from the chemical companies ? Or are you looking at homes blocks away?
Snyder Ave. does have some homes close to the industrial/chemical companies, and definitely those homes values are adversely affected . Now there are homes in Snyder Ave closer to the elementary school end which do not have that problem.
It is good that you have done reserch on this, but If you are looking at buying a home in Berkeley Hts., specifically in Snyder Ave, I would advise you to check out the exact location of the home.
There are many homes that are unaffected by the chemical/industrial companies.
