The answer on this is simpy it depends. Some houses this may be a good bit others you might not even be close. I had a client bid $7500 over on a house here in Lambertville this summer...we were short by over $9000! Best advice is have the agent you're working with or one you trust do some research for you. HUD homes all have an appraisal already done on them..if the list price is way under this amount, keep that in mind when bidding. - Sun Nov 15 2009, 05:03
