Born and raised in southern California, Melody Brey relocated to Arizona after the Northridge earthquake and has been happy to call Arizona her home. She graduated in 1994 from the Professional Institute of Real Estate and went on to graduate with honors at Arizona State University in the field of Education. Melody has had the privilege of offering her educational experience as a foundational cornerstone to benefit her real estate buyers and sellers.
Melody has a 14 year old daughter Jordan who is a successful model and volleyball star. On the charitable side, Melody, Jordan, and their comical dog Max, a Yorkshire Terrier, volunteer their time as a therapy dog team to bring joy and smiles to those in need.
Melody’s decision to enter the field of real estate evolved from her life-long exposure to real estate; her parents are both successful real estate brokers. Experience has been the best teacher, and Melody brings a wealth of experience to her role in helping Arizona buyers and sellers achieve their goals. Melody has a diversified knowledge of many arenas of real estate including: new homes, trustee sales, fix and flip, residential resale, property management, investment homes, and vacation homes.
Her real estate accomplishments and affiliations include: Homesmart brokerage-the largest brokerage in the state of Arizona, an industry leader in technology, and nationally ranked 5th in the top 100 brokerages in the country. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Arizona Association of Realtors, Southeast Valley Board of Realtors, Arizona Regional Multiple Listing Service, Certified Short Sale Specialist, graduate of the Professional Institute of Real Estate, and graduate of Smart Launch, an advanced real estate business and marketing program. In addition, she regularly invests in additional courses to sharpen her skills and offer added value to her clients.
She attributes much of her success to her attention to detail, quality customer care, and the ability to develop a good working rapport with nearly everyone. She finds that doing it right with the best ethical real estate practices helps eliminates the problems and conflicts that can challenge real estate transactions.
