Mark is extremely knowledgeable about the market in SF. I contacted him several months if not a year before I decided to sell and he was always helpful, with tips on when to sell, how the market was doing, etc. When I decided to sell, the process was seamless for me, as I live out of state. Mark and his team were there to help coordinate repairs, painting, etc when I couldn’t be there myself. He talked us through all the ins and outs of each offer and we were able to get top dollar. I would recommend him to anyone looking to buy/sell in SF!

"We discovered Mark by accident and we could not have had better fortune in doing so. Mark was incredibly responsive, well organized and efficient and ever conscious of working with our busy professional schedules. "For the past 10 years, real estate was easy. You buy, the price goes up, and you are setting pretty. Yeah, those days are gone. However, instead of standing by the sidelines there are opportunities abound. You can go with a hungry agent who will try to get you into any place and promise you a rebate, or you can go with Mark. Mark is my advisor in this crazy but opportunity filled market. He helped me pick up a 2 bedroom REO in the financial district for $100K less than a comparable unit that sold a few months prior. Buying REO from a bank sucks. Really, it does. They just don't make it easy for you. But Mark was able to make the process as painless as possible. So, if your need is an investment property, life-style change, or just looking for that trophy pad overlooking the city, Mark is going to do right for you. And if you are like me, you will never look for another agent again."

Mark is the most connected, most resourceful, most insightful, and the most efficient real agent I know. For a busy professional like me, I can rely on him on my next real estate deal.

Going through disclosure package on a Saturday, running in suits between towers on Sunday, setting up showings the same day, turning around offers over the phone while I was in Tokyo, getting insights into unlisted opportunities -- this is the only agent I am so reluctant to write a public review for because he is indeed the best kept secret in San Francisco Bay.

Mark and his team from Climb Real Estate represented us when we leased our place in the Infinity condo towers in SoMA. They did a really amazing job for us by: 1) getting us great tenants at the rent we wanted and 2) not requiring us to do any work besides leaving our home a couple times while she did an open house. Oh, and it only took 3 weeks from the time that we asked Mark and his team to start.

Additionally, Mark has always given me honest advice about the real estate market in SF. If/when we sell our Infinity condo, we'll definitely choose Mark!

Mark helped me buy my place in SOMA/South Beach back in 2007. He was a great agent at the time, helping me get access to a building that wasn't yet open to the public. It let me get my pick of units before others. He also had extremely deep knowledge of the neighborhood.

Since buying, Mark has been great at offering advice and information as I need it. For example, I needed comps on my unit to adjust my SF tax valuation on my property. (SF overvalued my property and didn't adjust downward for the real estate crash.) Even though it had been 2 years since I bought, Mark was willing to help out and sent me a couple comps. He'll be a trusted real estate advisor for a long time for me.

We ran into Mark at an open house and really liked his straightforward and knowledgeable approach. He pointed out the positives and didn't try to BS his way around the negatives. In the end he found us a place that we've since moved out of, but still haven't sold partially because we love it so much it's hard to let it go. Since the sale, he's been in touch, and he even helped us get some old documents that we should have stored but were too irresponsible to take care of. If we ever get around to selling the place, I am sure that I will be giving him a call again!

We met Mark when we first decided to look at buying a condo and went to a bunch of open houses, both to look at the properties and to "audition" real estate agents. While there were some realtors who were pleasant enough, Mark took the extra time to talk to us about buildings in the area, trends in the market, etc. without ever seeming pushy or too slick.

We ended up falling in love with a unit that we found on our own, but we are first time buyers in CA (apparently being a homeowner twice over in another state isn't enough - you're still a novice home buyer when you're in CA) and knew we wanted representation.
