Please contact a very competent and involved home inspector, Anthony Gimenez, with Professional Building Inspectors, Inc. so that he can share insight about the testing process for contaminated drywall. ANY property built, or remodeled, within the approximate years of 2001-2008 could have pieces of this drywall.
His website is also very informative: http://www.inspectorsinc.com. We have personally used Anthony for over 15 years and highly recommend him for all inspections.
It is also very important to have a proficient real estate professional on your side during a purchase of any real estate, especially with the changing economy and current nature of our market.
