Luniece is a Texas native whose family ties go back to the battle of the Alamo and Cherokee Indians of North East Texas. She grew up in Houston and spent much of her childhood between Lake Travis, a family ranch outside of Seguine and Luling, and in the Galveston Bay area. She holds a M.Ed., LPC and obtained her degrees at UT, and Texas State. Her previous work included serving as the Principal of Obst & Associates; which provided: Strategic Planning; Organizational Development for Non-Profit Organizations and Government entities. She served in private psychotherapy practice for 17 years and supervised post graduate students on case load activity while teaching at ACC and Texas State University. Luniece is a charter member of the International Institute of Responsible Conflict Resolution; a Executive Advisory Board member of the American Psychotherapy Association; Board Certified by the American Psychotherapy Association; and a past member of the Texas Women's Federation. Prior to obtaining her real estate license, Luniece had always enjoyed buying and renovating properties and had the privilege to do so in New England and Texas, purchasing historical homes and new homes. This became such a passion that she decided to go into real estate as a career combining her focus on realty value and design with the joy of working with people. Luniece currently works with buyers and sellers, developers, residential and Farm and Ranch recreational properties. Her hobbies include biking, hiking, gardening, and fly fishing.
