Lucie Ogdee is passionate about Houston and about everything this area has to offer, from its amazing diversity to its infinite opportunities! A native of Lebanon, she is a Houstonian at heart, having lived most of her life in the bayou city.
At an early age, Lucie’s family moved to France to escape the political turmoil in her native country. In Paris, she went to school and earned her Baccalaureat with honors in 1981. Four years later, she graduated from the prestigious Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris with a diploma in Economics and Finance. Because of her interests in the development of civilizations, she also pursued a degree in History at the world-famous Sorbonne. Job opportunities brought her to Houston where she taught French at the University of Houston while getting her MBA in Finance.
During the next decade, Lucie Ogdee worked in the Treasury Department of two major Houston corporations. Managing the company’s short-term investments and debt, overseeing global bank accounts and forecasting cash-flow, she acquired a deep knowledge of the markets and their intricacies. Her taste for all types of investments and her financial savvy prompted her to apply this experience to real estate, the beginning of a career that she is thrilled about.
