Leo and his wife Rosemary live in Cotuit, MA on Cape Cod. They've been married for 43 years and have two sons, Patrick and Eric. He has three children from an earlier marriage, Leo Jr., Maureen and Kim, seven grand-children and one great grandaughter. Leo was born in Quincy, MA in 1939 and graduated from Quincy Trade School in 1958 at which time he enlisted in the USN. He was in training for two years while in the Navy. After being Honorably Discharged in 1962, he worked as a Customer Service Engineer (computer repairman) in Boston with IBM. Subsequent employment with other computer companies over the next 13 years resulted in his attainment of the position of Senior Field Engineer for the Eastern U.S. with Wangco, Inc. in Los Angeles. After time, he changed career paths to the financial services sector.
Between 1975 and 1990 he provided full-service financial and estate planning services to middle and upper income professionals and individuals. He became a Registered Representative with IDS Financial Services/American Express now known as Ameriprise. He self studied with the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado and in June of 1984 received his certificate as a Certified Financial Planner. Leo and his CPA business partner formed Professional Financial Planning, Inc. and became Registered Investment Advisors (RIA) with the S.E.C. He was one of the 11 charter members of the American Express Financial Advisors "Gold Team" when it was founded in 1986. He was then elected by his peers as one of five advisors to the president of the company.
In 1990 he co-founded Lifenet, Inc. and worked in the development of Internet applications for Life Insurance and Financial Services companies. Since the dot com meltdown he's been working in Real Estate and has been applying the skills he acquired in computer hardware, the financial services and the Internet sectors of our economy to his Real Estate activities.

Lecturer at Northeastern University's Insurance and Financial Services Institute in Boston, MA where he taught the Certified Financial Planner curriculum as an Adjunct Faculty Member of the College for Financial Planning.

In 1985 he organized and coordinated the largest air show ever held at the Fitchburg, MA airport with the active participation of the Leominster and Fitchburg Rotary clubs. As a result, a substantial amount of funds was raised for local Rotary Club charities.
Leo is a Navy veteran. His interests and recreational activities include:
Flying airplanes (once parachuting out of one for the fun of it), Riding motorcycles. Economics, Reading books on politics and history, Playing with his computer(s) and Developing Internet applications for Real Estate, Financial Services and Insurance companies.
