You've gotten some really good answers. However, I would caution you about assuming that market values are dropping in your area. Statewide, Texas is still up. Most of the Granbury market has sustained and only a few neighborhoods have actually dropped. It's very easy for professionals to forget that the national numbers or even state numbers may not reflect each indiviual market.
