I am a retired flight attendant. My husband and I moved to Nantahala Lake full-time in 2005. After retirement, I went back to college to renew my teaching certificate and have substitute taught in Macon and Cherokee County schools for 6 years. I enjoy the outdoors, especially perennial flower gardening. I also love to kayak on the peaceful lake waters here, take our dog for walks on the mountain roads, and just sit on the screened-in porch and enjoy the scenery. I sing in an area choral group and belong to several knitting and crocheting groups.
