Not necessarily. Don't immediately doubt your offer. I have had multiple situations where we were told we would hear back from the bank within X-days and it took longer. I recently had a situation where an offer was submitted and even the listing agent thought it was being reviewed by the bank- 17 days later we found out there was a glitch in the system and the bank didn't even know the offer was there. Ugh.
Just be sure that your agent is in constant communicaiton with the listing agent and that they are communicating with the bank. Good luck!
