A great buyer's agent will not complain about having to write many offers for you because you have lost out on other houses due to multiple offers.
A great buyer's agent will be involved in the inspection process and ask inspectors questions alongside you.
A great buyer's agent will answer your calls and emails the same day (ok, within reason- if you email at 10 pm it probably won't be the same day!).
First time buyer? A great buyer's agent will hold your hand throughout the entire process, listen when you have questions, and be patient while you take your time.
A great buyer's agent should be someone you trust, someone you get along with, and someone you find interesting because you will be in close contact with them for the duration of your home buying process (and after!).
Finally, a great buyer's agent is someone who knows when to meet your for a cup of coffee or a glass of wine when things become intense and you need to vent. The process will be frustrating, rewarding, educational, and exciting so pick someone you like!
