Hello, my name is Kim Clayton and, not only am I a local Realtor, but I work in the area near the Lost Creek Subdivision. This area is somewhat rural but only 10 minutes from shopping, grocery store and many resturants, etc. The schools are brand new. They opened about 2 years ago. I have friends whose children attend and they are very happy with the schools. If you like being out of the city just a little bit...this is definitely the place to be. It is a great area! I love it.

As far as Lost Creek....I'm not super impressed with it. I think the price per square foot is a little on the high side. I have not looked at the prices in there lately....but the last time I checked, I thought they were still over-priced for the economy here. There are however a lot of great homes in the immediate area. Some new subdivisions....and some just a few years old. There are golf communities nearby that offer good square footage for about the same price. If you like the area you should check into the Bentwater Subdivsion as well as Senator's Ridge. I can definitely provide you with more info if you'd like to contact me. My website is listed below.

Good luck in your search and with your investigation into the Metro Atlanta area! Here are a couple of great sources for newcomers to the Atlanta area is http://www.newcomeratlanta.com as well as http://www.atlantacommunities.com (for new homes). FYI.....I cover 6 counties in the NW Atlanta area. If I can help further, please let me know. - Sun Nov 8 2009, 19:26
