Appraisers are being very conservative with their appraisals these days. As we are in a very different market with all of the Short Sales and Foreclosure properties. It's hard for appraisers to pull comps. I would need more information from you to realistically be able to give you a fair answer to your questions. Example: What dollar amount did you purchase your property for and how much have you invested into home improvements? What do you owe on the property? Location is still key. I see you're in Brighton , but are you near 96? Or are you private? And, yes to Buyer's are still requesting and purchasing properties with acreage. It would be my pleasure to give you a Comparable Market Analysis at no cost or obligation to you. That way you will have a much better idea of which path to choose and what better suits your needs at this time. I look forward to hearing from you!
